1:1 Somatic Sessions

Your body, Your Wisdom

You're going to love these sessions if...

These sessions are for people who:

Are highly capable but often feel flat, irritable, over it, or move quickly between 'fine' and overwhelmed

Struggle to relax, even with rest or "self care"

Feel stuck in patterns of over-giving, avoiding, resentment or blankness around their own desires

Want an approach that meets them where they’re at that's anti-pathology and respects the wisdom of their body

Are seeking to feel steady, responsive, and alive again.

Imagine this

You catch yourself mid-over-give, offering to help even though your know you're fully loaded, and for once you pause instead of following through on autopilot.

Someone asks what you want for dinner, for your birthday, for your life, and a clear answer shows up instead of the usual radio silence.

You feel the flare of irritation at your partner or your kids, you feel it, respond to it and it moves through you instead of sitting in your chest for the rest of the day.

You make a decision - about work, about a relationship, about your time - and you don't second guess yourself.

You notice you're rigid before you've even opened your laptop, and instead of saying 'I'm fine' and pushing through you know exactly what to do to support yourself, and you go do it.

Your head hits the pillow and your body lets you rest, no loop or running the day's replay reel at 11pm.

1:1 Somatic Sessions

Rebuild steadiness. Grow capacity. Reconnect to what really matters.

What happens in a session?

These sessions combine the intuitive depth of BodyDreaming with somatic education, offering a unique blend of approaches designed to support meaningful, (doable) and sustainable change.

Ultimately, a Somatic session supports your nervous system to gently loosen the grip of old patterns - so you can start meeting everyday life with more steadiness, clarity, and creative responsiveness.

'Your matter, matters' ~ Marion Woodman

Why the body?

Because change doesn’t just happen in your mind - it happens when your whole body knows how to do things differently.

We work together to create the just noticeable difference —an incremental approach that respects your body's capacity and creating change without overwhelming it.

This supports you to remain present, grounded, and open to new ways of responding to life’s challenges.

Together, these practices create a container to reconnect you to your innate wisdom, build steadiness and responsiveness, and navigate life in a more robust, creative, and resourced way.

This is a container to grow your capacity - so you can show up for what matters most, from a place of sturdiness and self-trust.

BodyDreaming is an embodied therapeutic practice that integrates Jungian psychology, neuroscience, and somatic trauma therapy to create a robust nervous system and genuine presence in your life.

Who am I to know how to support you?

I'm a Mum, Aunty and sister, a Somatic Practitioner, artist, and most days just a woman standing in her garden in regional Western Australia, chatting to the birds and making sure I do what I ask my clients to do.

I've spent the last 10 years training in BodyDreaming, somatic coaching, and my own creative practice - learning how nervous systems, dreams, and depth psychology actually talk to each other, not just how they read in a textbook. I've co-produced two five-day global summits on myth, somatics and depth psychology, because I genuinely can't stop being curious about this stuff.

I read tarot at my desk. I talk to my neighbour's cactus. I don't aspire to have it all figured out - I'm good with partial answers.

Here's what I do know: I don't try to fix what's unresolved in you. I treat it as intelligence and compost - the raw material your next real thing grows out of.

That's the work I bring into the room now. I've sat with enough people through this process to know it works. That's not a guess - that's just hours spent with humans just like you.

You can save yourself years of pushing through frameworks that never quite land in your body.

In a session, we work with what presents on the day, and we hold your body with the respect and reverence it deserves.

What happens in a session?

Each 60-minute session is led by what your body brings forward on the day.

I take a somatic approach through:

  • Tracking what's happening in your body and mine
  • Breath and movement

  • Sensation language

  • Working with dreams and images

  • Titration, pendulation, and orienting

Sometimes it’s about being with experiences that hold charge from the past, or challenges that require support in the present. Other times it’s about following an image or dream.

Somatic sessions help you reconnect to your body's innate wisdom - and learn to trust it.

FAQ's

Do I need to be in therapy to do this?

No. Somatic sessions complement therapy beautifully but also stand alone. You don’t need to be doing any other work to benefit from this.

How is this different to other therapy?

A somatic approach means we focus on the body's felt sense rather than relying primarily on conversation or cognitive insight. This is a body-led approach, in which you are learning the skills needed to titrate emotional overwhelm helping to deepen your sense of rootedness in your body and our surroundings.

What if I don’t know how to feel things in my body?

Totally fine. Most of us were never taught how. That’s part of what we’ll explore gently together. You don’t need to be able to name everything—just be curious.

Where does this type of approach come from?

BodyDreaming offers a unique combination of the psychology of C.G. Jung, BodySoul Rhythms® of Marion Woodman, the trauma therapy Somatic Experiencing of Peter Levine, neuroscience, attachment and developmental theory. This integrative approach helps you develop a deeper awareness of your own nervous system, triggers, and habitual response patterns.  It’s practical and intuitive.

What will I get out of it?

Most women leave feeling clearer, more grounded and energised. Over time, clients report more clarity around decisions, increased emotional range, more ease in relationships, and the ability to catch patterns (like people-pleasing or pushing through) before they overwhelm their system.

I didn’t know Vive before joining the Pleasure as a Resource series. I signed up based on a recommendation and her sales page, which promised a lot for just one month.

Like most people, I take marketing claims with a grain of salt—but I figured if even one of those things came true, it would be worth it.

Vive delivered on every single promise. She made the work clear, tangible, and accessible. This year has brought personal challenges that activated old patterns I’ve struggled with, and I can feel the shift: less fear, more patience, and more space to work with those patterns.

I now find resources and pleasure in things I barely noticed before. I feel more ease with the pace of change. Vive taught us how to work with patterns in small doses, bring in resources, and notice real-time shifts—sometimes right in the middle of class. The sense of sturdiness and ease I have now is remarkable.

Vive is a wonderful teacher: generous, thoughtful, and deeply committed to creating real, gentle change. I’m so grateful for the care and dedication she brought to this series and for the tools and capacities she helped me build in such a short time.
